With this program we prepare the student with the theoretical knowledge and practical training needed to obtain the Integrated Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CPL-H), recognized by EASA I European Aviation Safety Agency, in a professional environment in VFR flight conditions.
Applicants for this program may be admitted as ab-initio students or as holders of a PPL (H) License.
Once our Integrated Helicopter Commercial Pilot Program is completed, you will be able to work as a professional pilot in observation and patrol flights, aerial filming and photography, air taxi, tourist flights and advertising, among other options. You can also combine it with other options in external load, fire and rescue operations.
An important step to later consider applying for the Airline Transport Pilot License, thanks to the different academic programs offered by the World Aviation Flight Academy.
THEORETICAL TRAINING
The course consists of a total of 350 hours of theoretical training distributed among the following subjects:
* Holder of a PPL will undertake a total of 200 hours.
** Applicants who have successfully completed a modular ATPL (H) theoretical knowledge course do not need theoretical training.
The course consists of a total of 135 hours of practical flight training and distributed as 125 hours of visual instruction, 5 hours of night flight in a single-engine IFR Training helicopter and 5 hours of basic instrument flight in a simulator. The practical training will be given by World Aviation Flight Academy at any of its bases.

THEORETICAL TEST
The electronic examinations of theoretical knowledge for FCL Licences and Ratings
are those established by the Community Regulations of the Commission on obtaining
flight crew licences in accordance with the EASA and AESA requirements to obtain
flight licences. They may be held at the Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca
centers within the established calendar.
* Once these are passed, the exam can be accessed.
PRACTICAL TEST

The duration of the course will be 12 to 24 months and will depend on the availability of the students.
