The objective of this program is to ensure that our students obtain their Airline Transport Pilot License under the highest standards of safety and quality.
This title, recognized by EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) entitles you to act as pilot in command (pic) in air operations where only one pilot is required, for example, air works, as well as co-pilot in multi-pilot operations as in an airline transport aircraft.
If you want to obtain the license that allows you to fulfill your dream of flying as an Airline Transport Pilot in large companies, where you will acquire a great experience flying short or long haul routes, either to transport passengers, cargo, or perform any of the different air works (photography, fire fighting, air rescue,…), with no doubt, the ATPL FROZEN is the course you need.
Below, we show you the content of the Airline Transport Pilot Course (subjects, flying hours, etc…) to solve any possible doubts before starting your training as a pilot.
The Frozen ATPL program contains different theoretical training phases, equivalent to the PPL (A) + ATPL (A) course, that is, more than 822 hrs of theoretical instruction. In addition, the student will learn the theoretical knowledge necessary to take the Instrument Rating (IR) modular courses and obtain the Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
Once the student has acquired the knowledge, and suceeded the internal progress tests, he/she will have to take the multiple choice official tests of:
The official exams are held in SENASA (Madrid, Barcelona or Palma de Mallorca). The minimum score to pass each subject is 75%.
Thus, being in possession of an ATPL FROZEN means you have a CPL/A license and have passed all theoretical ATPL exams. To ‘unfreeze’ the ATPL, EASA requires to complete a total of 1500 flight hours under the following minimum criteria:
Our Airline Transport Pilot course includes a practical training of 218 flight hours.
Simulator hours are performed on an Airbus A320 Full Motion Level D. This is the professional simulator currently used by airline pilots.
Our modular system provides maximum flexibility, giving the option to choose different dates per module as well as different training options: classroom, blended and online.
With the modular ATPL, you become a pilot from the first title you obtain. You will achieve the appropriate accreditations as you overcome the different modules, without having to wait until the entire program is completed.
This program is developed in stages following different modules from lesser to greater difficulty, deepening in each subject.
