The A330 Renewal program has been created so that pilots who seldom fly can keep their knowledge up to date and renew their licences and ratings.
It is a special program for the renewal of the A330 type rating, in specific cases in which the period of time that has elapsed since the privileges of the rating were exercised has been of long duration, and therefore revalidation is no longer available. However, thanks to our A330 Renewal program it is possible to recover it.
The idea is to make it easier for all pilots in the EASA environment to maintain their skills in order to be able to fly again as soon as the market gets reactivated.
Different factors of each of the profiles of the interested pilots will be analyzed, such as the period that has elapsed since the expiration of the rating, recent experience, total hours in the type of aircraft or family of the same manufacturer, and time elapsed since the date of completion of the last simulator or real flight.
With all this information, we will proceed to design a personalized custom course in order to renew and recover the qualification that had been lost.
Within the entry requirements, a series of points will have to be verified in accordance with current regulations to validate whether the candidate is suitable or not for the Renewal A330.

Although an attempt will always be made to adjust each pilot to one of the predetermined profiles, each particular case will be studied in detail, each of the programs may require more training sessions, modifying their structure to always comply with the mandatory requirements of the current standards.
Special attention will be paid to the briefings, and de-briefings where the flight profile and the objectives of this session are carefully prepared. All the necessary considerations will be taken by the instructor in accordance to learning objectives and competencies.
