The renowned pilot training school, World Aviation Flight Academy, had the honour of participating in the “PAvCon Europe 2023” conference held on the 6th and 7th of June at the Iurreta base in Bilbao, home to the Surveillance and Rescue Unit of the Ertzaintza.
“PAvCon Europe 2023” is an unmissable event in the calendar of police aviation and its associated industry in Europe, only surpassed by the “Airborne Public Safety Association, APSA” conference in the United States, what underscores the relevance of the meeting.
Since its first edition in 2008, this event has been held in different police centres, aerodromes, and internationally renowned companies, such as the German federal police, Dutch national police, and the multinational Airborne Technologies, among others.
At this 2023 year edition, impressive technological advancements related to manned and unmanned aircrafts were showcased as well as new methodologies were discussed in a variety of stands, presentations, and round tables held in morning and afternoon sessions.
World Aviation’s presence at “PAvCon Europe 2023” stood alongside representatives from major police forces and industry companies such as the French Gendarmerie, Irish Garda Síochána, Dutch, Belgian, and Swedish National Police, Bavarian State Police, Norwegian Ministry of Defence, Mossos D´Esquadra, Navarre Regional Police, Spanish Aviation Safety and Security Agency (AESA), Airbus Helicopters, Flysight, Flightcell, Leonardo, Airborne Technologies, Skyops, LICO, among others. Likewise, some leading Basque companies in the sector such as SVP AEROSPACE, headquartered in Durango, took part in this important gathering.
World Aviation, with a history of pilot training for the air forces of Portugal and Latvia, reaffirms its commitment to excellence and innovation in providing high-level pilot training for security forces and agencies.
The participation in this event has been a momentous opportunity for World Aviation to continue expanding and bolstering its role as a professional pilot training school, demonstrating its vital contribution to the development and safety of aviation on a global scale.
