What is an ATO?

“Approved Training Organizations”

Lets start by the beginning. We want to explain well what an ATO is and why it is relevant for professionals in the aeronautical sector to be trained in one of them.

The acronyms correspond in their translation to, Approved Training Organization, that is, an entity that is certified to be able to teach courses and training of pilot licenses and qualifications related to the aeronautical sector, both theoretical and practical. In Spain, ATOs are approved by the State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).

ATO 272 I Flight Academy

World Aviation is a flight academy specialized in aeronautical training founded in 2014 and approved by AESA with the E-ATO 272 certification, quality assurance and recognized by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

We specialize in comprehensive training for Helicopter Pilots, Airplane Pilots, Simulators and Professional Drone Operators. We teach the courses from our training centers at the Cuatro Vientos Aerodrome, Madrid and Malaga International Airport.

Requirements

For AESA to accredit you with the corresponding certification, it is necessary to have adequate facilities to teach the theoretical classes, the supervision and approval of the Management Manual, Training Manual, the corresponding program for each of the courses and the Operations Manual.

On the other hand, you have to present a specific detail of the aircraft that you have according to each course. You can know a little more about our fleet, here.

Our instructors have extensive experience, with more than 25 years in the sector, airline pilots and helicopter pilots and engineers, with the highest level of personal qualification acquired throughout their professional careers. In addition, we have our Head of Training, who is in charge of teaching at the pilot school before the authorities and who is in charge of ensuring that all training is carried out safely and in accordance with the regulations.

We call different promotions for the beginning of the courses during the year. Registered students will receive a Training Manual with the training schedule, both theoretical and in flight. In addition, you will have access to a digital platform for the management and programming of theoretical and practical classes, among other functionalities.

You can ask us about our online or face-to-face training through this form or by calling us at (+34) 913 09 43 73.
