The objective of this program is to familiarize pilots with possible situations that could occur in flight in different scenarios.
The latest studies of air accidents show how the loss of control of an aircraft is one of the highest risk factors that can generate fatal accidents in our industry.
For this reason, it is a fundamental program for pilots where they acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to anticipate and avoid loss of control in flight and develop the appropriate techniques to recover from adverse situations that may occur.
The completion of the UPRT course is mandatory for all pilots since December 2019 according to the European regulation EASA FCL 745, who wish to carry out a first type rating to fly with an airline.
Therefore, it is an essential requirement to be eligible for a position as a pilot within an airline.
Once the training is finished, the pilot will be able to handle both the physiological and psychological aspects of different situations that he may experience in flight, and have the necessary aptitude to be able to apply appropriate recovery techniques during the loss of control of an aircraft.
