In the last edition of our Open Day in Madrid, visitors were able to know our team, facilities and, also, our fleet. It was a very busy event as more than 40 people came to share the Saturday morning with us.
All this wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration and involvement of the World Aviation team, that work everyday to give their best and made all callers feel at home.
Here is a brief summary of how the day went:
At 10 o’clock in the morning, the first participants began to arrive. On this occasion, we decided that the entire event would take place in the hangars, so we started by welcoming the group before heading to the premises.
Upon arrival, one of our pilots, who is also an-instructor, gave a technical description of the helicopter while the rest of the team completed details to make the event fun yet interesting.
Then, we moved to the next hangar where participants could sit down and listen to our ATO Coordinator who talked about the school, the courses and all concerning details. Once finished, the visitors could ask all their doubts, go to see how the aircrafts had been arranged and share moments with each other as well as with the team.
For the most curious, we offered the opportunity of living the helicopter Pilot for a Day experience which was very well received and more than one was encouraged to enjoy. This is an experience that we recommend everybody to try in order to know the feeling of being a pilot before moving on to the next step: train to become a pilot.
