This Airline Transport Pilot Course provides the student with the level of theoretical knowledge required for an ATPL (H).
It is aimed at those with previous flying experience who want to obtain the theoretical requirements for the professional level of ATPL-H (Helicopter Airline Transport Pilot), i.e. to work initially as a co-pilot in commercial air transport in multi-pilot/multi-engine helicopters in VFR conditions.
This programme covers all the theoretical knowledge that the student will need to be able to apply for the flight phase, as well as to successfully pass the examinations and knowledge requirements established for obtaining an ATPL(H) licence recognised by EASA I European Aviation Safety Agency.
THEORETICAL TRAINING
The course consists of a total of 550 hours of theoretical training distributed among the following subjects:
*CPL(H) licence holders shall undertake a total of 300 hours.
*Exempted holders of a CPL(H) licence.
The electronic theoretical knowledge examinations for the FCL Licences and Ratings are those established by the Community Regulations of the Commission on obtaining flight crew licences in accordance with the requirements of EASA and AESA for obtaining flight licences. They can be held at the Madrid, Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca sites within the established timetable.
The approximate duration of the ATPL helicopter licence course will be 4 to 8 months and will depend on the availability of the students.
